Every action in business has a financial consequence. The cost to business can be greatly minimised if everyone has a basic understanding of business finance. What is the cost of an activity? What is the financial risk? How does the company make its money? Where does the money go? How do I have an impact on company profitability? Show Me The Money is business finance for non-financial people.
Objectives:
To improve the company’s profitability through wiser money management by front line personnel. Also to broaden participants’ own financial skills to prepare them for more senior roles.
This business finance workshop includes:
- Understanding the company’s financial system
- Using the correct terminology
- Understanding your own role in company finance and profitability
- The impact of poor cash flow, write-offs, late billing, and delayed payments, and
- Formulating ways to combat them

Target: This is business finance for non-finance people. It is for everyone who needs an understanding of the money side of the business. Especially junior to mid-level staff whose actions may have a direct impact on the bottom line.
