Olympia is a body builder’s gym. It is also a South Melbourne institution.

Anyone who has driven along South Melbourne’s Montague Street knows Olympia Gym.

Every day for 30 years, the big roller shutter has almost always been open.

The lights have almost always been on. Paul, the owner, is always there.

Many members have been training at Olympia since it opened in 1991.

Members just drop by for a chat, even on rest days. Paul knows every one of them by name.

In designing this website, we wanted to convey the unique ambience of Olympia, the focus of members and the special rapport that exists.

Bozos is a fishing lure manufacturer based on Australia’s Gold Coast.

Bozos lures are artisanal products. Each style is designed and tested for swim action by founder Phil Alder before going into production. The lures are further refined based on feedback from fishermen around the world.

Bozos recently decided to establish an online shop. This new website needed to be not only a showcase and shop for the lures, but also a place where happy customers could share their fishing photos.

It also needed to be a site where Phil could share his considerable fishing knowledge.

We created a shop, we created Phil’s Fishing School and we even created Bozos Kitchen. So now, Bozos customers could rig it, catch it and cook it.

Jono Freeman is an exercise physiologist. A really good one, as we can attest.

His knowledge of the human body and especially the core muscle groups is extraordinary.

His passion for helping clients overcome pain, manage weight and perform at their best is obvious.

He is incredibly generous with his expertise. He has helped many personal trainers help their own clients recover from injury. He shares his knowledge in lectures and videos. He mentors people thinking of careers in exercise physiology.

When Jono asked us to create a new website, we started from scratch. We helped him write his brand DNA. We designed a logo, inspired by the physio rolling app Jono has just launched. We took photos of treatment sessions and we designed and built his new site.

It’s natural for a business that offers web design as one of its services to design its own website.

This is a website with a very large amount of editorial content. It covers all GregAlderCo services – the business creativity and productivity workshops, the branding services, marketing communications, writing, consulting and web design.

Aldville Station is a working cattle and sheep station deep in mulga country in south-west Queensland.

In drought years, this country can be inhospitable and uncompromising. However in normal years, annual floods bring the landscape to life.

Frogs emerge from creek beds, plants sprout from the fine red soil, native bees feed on the profusion of wild flowers, an extraordinary variety of birds fill the branches and animals, both native and introduced, breed with abandon.

Aldville Station has become a popular destination for local and foreign visitors looking for a genuine Australian experience.

We created this website as a showcase for this wonderful, unique property.

As well as designing the website and writing the copy, we took all the photographs for the website whilst on a visit late in 2012.
